I’m chatting over the early-morning breakfast table with a good friend this morning about what was and was not included in the Bible.

You come across the obligatory tedium of some parts; when things are repeated a thousand times or read like a real estate contract.

And then there are the sentences that read something like, “Two years passed. Then…” Those sentences are the ones that make me aghast. What the heck happened in there?!

I guess it’s a worthwhile study in itself to understand why what made the cut did so.
