I’ve been working on the songwrite collaboration project we started here a while ago. Here’s the result of reworking some of the lyrics this morning:
Dawn on a canyon’s rim Air is bright and thin The space we’ve just entered in – Sacred filament (Chorus) Catch your eye Oh it’s been a long time Share a smile Bathed in the sunlight I’d trade the world for A glimpse of this sight Framed inside | Dawn on a canyon’s rim Air is bright and thin The space we’ve just entered in – We’ve waited long for this (Chorus) Catch your eye We’ve made it in time Share a smile Bathed in the sunlight I’d trade the world for This moment At your side This walk’s taken quite a while Over many miles Remember all the days You should have walked away |
…A testament that songwriting takes (me) a long time.
(You can hear the first version of this from a while ago to get an idea of the sound here.) How do we feel about this so far?
