It Comes Down to Beauty (Again) (Musing)

I’m not always in a mental state that can support this as of late, but sometimes I feel glimpses of hopeful possibility. And they almost always center around beauty.

If I can contribute to building something beautiful; if I can see beauty grow slowly and surely around me; if I get to see beauty in the eyes of those I work with and the efforts of team and the undertaking of hard things and the facing of daunting fears and the breaths taken after exertion…

If I don’t lose sight of the beauty in a Maker who loves completely despite being misunderstood, misbranded, mislabeled, mistreated, and mistaken for other things…

If there is something beautiful to be made of the story I’m wrapped in…

That hope might just be enough.
